Can We Please Move On From Saturday’s Final

May 27, 2024

I’m getting a sense of déjà vu this week with regard to the EPCR final.

I expected the claims of bad reffing and other reasons why Leinster didn’t win on Saturday, but to see pundits call for the return of Jonny Sexton left me a bit speechless. Give the man a break guys – he’s been a great player for both Leinster and your national side and deserves to just watch from the sidelines now.

But he would have made sure the referees don’t miss anything by pointing out their errors and other missed infringements…

Wow! Just accept the better team won on the day, go back and learn from the experience.

We can never change the past, and living life looking over our shoulder can lead to depression, so it’s not positive.
