The rim is made from a bearing from a H145 rotor head and the centre is cut from a piece of vintage mahogany from a broken table, which is drilled and the detail hub nuts are added individually. Making the Berts is all about therapy for me. Taking time to do these details helps me relax after a stressful day at work. I call this ‘meditation for engineers’.
