Ho, ho, ho, folks, it’s Friday, Friday, Friday, and you made it through the work week, fireworks going off just for you. I hope you had a fantastic week, because Santa sure did, amazing meetings, wonderful people, and exciting conversations about bringing Storytime with Santa to nursing homes, senior care centers, and group homes everywhere.
Activity Directors, let’s have a conversation, Santa loves what you do and would love to work with you. With 321 days till Christmas, the excitement keeps building, and the mission never slows down. If you run into a veteran, say thank you for your service and sacrifice, and when you see a senior, say hello, open a door, carry a bag, ask how they’re doing, and give them a smile, those little moments matter.
Today’s quote says it all, “I choose to make the rest of my life the best of my life,” Louise Hay. Why settle for mediocre when you can strive to be your best? Work hard, climb the steps one at a time, don’t take anything for granted, and keep your eyes on the goal, a happy, positive, powerful life. Nothing is handed to us, but when you put in the work, the rewards are worth it.
As the weekend rolls in, I hope you get outside, enjoy some sunshine, take pictures, create memories, and share smiles, giggles, and laughter. Just remember, you won’t go anywhere until you open that door, whatever that door may be.
