When I first started the journalling, I had no idea where it would go, but it feels appropriate today to mark this post for no other reason that the fact that I thought it would be interesting to see what I could find out that relates to the number 300.
0300h – My Witching Hour
I’ve always said that finding someone you can be chatting with at 0300h in the morning and still feel like it’s 2200h makes them someone significant in your life-that person who melts time (yes you still do that Pooh Bear!). It’s also that “honesty” hour I find, when you’re tired and things that would normally be held back tend to be spoken in that “f*** it” moment. To me, one of the most important things we can do is to be vulnerable and it’s rare to find someone who isn’t more open at this time of the night.
300 – The Movie
Memorable not only for the sight of a well ripped Gerard Butler, the film portrays the heroic King Leonidas of Sparta and his 300 men lay battle to the massive Persian Army, fighting to the last man during the Battle of Thermopylae (480 BC).
For the mathematicians:
300 is the sum of two prime numbers (149 + 151), and also the sum of ten consecutive prime numbers (13 + 17 + 19 + 23 + 29 + 31 + 37 + 41 + 43 + 47).
Noah’s Ark
According to the bible, God told Noah to build his ark to be three hundred cubits long (about 450 feet).
Angel Numbers
Those of you interested in angel numbers will recognise this one as guiding you to trust your intuition and keep on the journey (let’s hope this applies to this community as well)
Ten Pin Bowling
The number 300 represents the perfect score which is achieved by getting 12 consecutive strikes – as someone who needs the children’s guide rails up when I go… not something I will ever achieve but I am sure a few of you on the other side of the pond may have got close.
