Saturday Sounds: 20th July 2024

July 20, 2024

Woke up this morning to the sound of pitter patter outside, not the best way to start a weekend, but on the positive side, I won’t have to water the plants. Yup every cloud (literally in this instance!) has a silver lining…

I have a busy weekend ahead involved with supporting two charity events, one a coffee morning for an animal rescue and the other a quiz night for a charity that looks after children affected by terminal illness. I am also house and dog sitting for friends while they are visiting family, so quite a bit of driving around as well.

I’m looking forward to meeting the team at the animal rescue, a charity I was involved with about 20 years ago when my daughter and I used to help with looking after the cats until the cattery was moved too far for us to be able to continue. I still wonder to this day what happened to Harvey, one of the long term residents and whether he ever found a “forever” home…

Whatever you’re doing this weekend, enjoy and hope your weather is better than ours !
