It’s so nice to wake up to a message from someone you care about. Even better when it then ends up having a conversation that just rambles on while you’re both dozing. At this time it’s even more special because it’s dark and cold and somehow the regular “ping” makes you feel brighter.
Whether that message is from your Mum checking if you’ve remembered to book your 6 monthly dental appointment or from that special someone 243 miles away, it’s still a connection and cherished.
Please never under-estimate how much just a simple “hi” means to people and it takes less than 10 seconds to send.
