Send Your Christmas Cards Earlier if You’re a Business !

The Royal Mail has announced 2 additional surcharges that will be coming into forces for letters and parcels; this will affect its business account holders

1. Peak Surcharge: it will cost you an additional 5p or 10p to post during the period from Monday 20th November 2023 to Sunday 7th January 2024.

2. Green Surcharge: levied at 2p, this will apply from Monday 6th November and run for an “undefined” period of time.

Add to this the cost of first class post rising from 2nd October by 15p, this will mean that a booklet of 8 stamps will now cost £10 !

Christmas is a prime time for small businesses and many will be impacted by these increases (don’t forget to set your online postage charges to increase if you are going to be passing them onto your customers).
