Last night saw the start of round 3 of the EPCR championship with Glasgow overpowering Racing; today we have the start of a true feast of matches with Stormers v Sale, a must win for the former culminating with LaRochelle hosting Leinster. In between all of that is my highlight: we play Sharks in Durban, a game which some people are listing as a replay of the RWC 2023 quarter final.
Whoever wins, it’s primarily about preparation and teamwork, exactly the skills we need as business owners. Preparation ensures readiness, while teamwork ensures collaboration. Together, they build a strong foundation for achieving business success, driving innovation, and creating a culture of trust and efficiency.
When preparation and teamwork are combined, they create synergy: this means that a well-prepared team can execute plans flawlessly and adapt to unforeseen circumstances. In times of crisis, a team prepared with a management plan can quickly respond to emergencies without panic.
it’s about building confidence and efficacy alowing teams to pool their knowledge to address challenges effectively. Collaborative environments foster trust and a sense of belonging, improving job satisfaction.
I hope our 12 hour displacement and the emotions felt by all on the beach when the team paid hommage to Medhi, (our young academy player who went missing last summer when swimming, pulled offshore by a freak current) do not deter from being able to play to the best of our ability against a strong Sharks team, even if they are missing key players like Eben Elsebeth and Fassi.
Enjoy the rugby today everyone; with the 6N so close, here’s hoping for an exciting and injury free weekend !
