I love a sax (she typed very carefully and checked her spelling…!). It just hits all the right spots.

Reminds me of many a night spent at Ronnie Scott’s in London and Number 5 Emerald Hill in Singapore. At the latter, they had this amazing guy, an American guy who played with a live band on Saturday nights and I was a regular visitor when I was working there.

I was gutted to find they had gone when I went back some years later on holiday. I wonder if he went back to the USA in the end, he certainly would not be out of place in a bar in New Orleans.
