In a dry forest, a single spark can set off a wildfire. We have all seen the devastating effects such fires can have on communities, putting the lives of people and animals at risk and worse.
Social media algorithms amplify the most flammable ideas—whether misinformation, extremism, or harmful trends—because they spread the fastest.
Just like a wildfire, these ideas can destroy reputations, polarize societies, and fuel real-world harm before anyone can put them out.
